The Second Nazi was Toht's fellow agent in the Third Reich who accompanied Toht and his goons to Nepal to get Marion Ravenwood's medallion.
After Indiana Jones disrupted their attempt, the ensuing brawl prompted the German to shoot at him with his submachine gun. While Jones was being throttled by the Giant Sherpa, Toht ordered the Nazi to shoot both of them.
Indy, with assistance from the Sherpa, managed to wrestle his revolver from its holster and shoot four rounds into the German, dropping him permanently.

- The Second Nazi was played by Matthew Scurfield.
- In the novelization by Campbell Black, the Second Nazi is noted as having an eye patch. Also Indy and the Sherpa shoot him only once, in the throat.
