The Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom soundtrack was released on LP, cassette and CD in 1984 by Polydor Records. However, it is currently out of print and is no longer available, except on the collector market. Due to the length limitations of a single LP (approximately 40 minutes), numerous cues from the film were cut. An unofficial remixed album was released with the original eleven tracks and remixed tracks. After the release of the extended Raiders of the Lost Ark soundtrack album, there was some hope of a more complete release of the Temple of Doom score. As of early 2008, no extended album has been released.
